As the first face our clients see and the first voice they hear, our reception team plays a vital role in creating the welcoming, family atmosphere that our hospital is known for. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, loves pets, and understands that kindness, empathy, and a positive attitude can make all the difference.

 

Previous reception experience is required. Experience in a veterinary or medical setting is an asset, but we are happy to train the right person. Above all else, we are looking for someone with excellent people skills, outstanding phone etiquette, and a cheerful, upbeat personality. We love team members who bring positive energy to the hospital and genuinely enjoy brightening someone’s day.

 

In this role, you’ll help keep the day running smoothly by answering phones, responding to emails and texts, scheduling appointments and surgeries, preparing invoices and estimates, admitting and discharging patients, and communicating with clients, referring veterinarians, and the rest of our team. Every day is different, and you’ll play an important role in ensuring that pets and their families receive compassionate care and exceptional customer service.

 

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, comfortable using computers, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment. Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys interacting with people, can support clients through both happy and difficult moments, and believes that kindness and respect matter.
